How to Survive and Thrive in Tomorrow's Market | Individualizing each of your theatres. With the global pandemic ending, so is the way we have done business in the past. Last year, adding a full service bar, a restaurant or simply an expanded food selection worked as a cookie cutter formula in all of your theatres. During the Pandemic you may have tried a few different “tricks” and “creative marketing” to bring some of your customers in the door. To regain your footing and thrive tomorrow it will take some reinventing and customizing for each of your locations to the market in which it is located. Get to know your customers with a basic demographic study of current and future audiences is critical. Determine if you need to convert one or two houses or your lobby or the store front next door into a children, teen, single adult or mature family entertainment center. And what makes perfect sense for one or two of your theatres, may not work in any of the others. Include local content to the mix of “individualizing” each theatre in your circuit of 2 or 102 theatres. | Jeff Kaplan, NEC with:
Matthew Baizer - COO Flix Brewhouse Rob Novak - VP Concessions and F&B, Marcus Theatres Siobhan Scalamogna - Director of Sales at PepsiCo Sandy Karp - VP of Construction & Development at iPic |
